OUTSIDE THE HOTEL
...AND INSIDE
Bill:We just arrived in Paris...and Tom is trying to explain to the waiter what "Apfelschrle" is...:-)
We just landed in Paris and I think it's almost 9mp For the rest of the night each of us will just chill out in out rooms.

BEFORE
Bill: Tomorrow morning we'll depart pretty early for Parc des Princes since it's a HUGE venue I mean whole production and everything else is gigantic. The team even started prepping the show today our sound check tomorrow will be longer than usual and we'll also check the last details with everyone.
But for tonight we're just chilling!
ANYTHING ELSE WE NEED TO KNOW?
Bill: Olives are just as disgusting as mushrooms,asparagus,broccoli,cauliflower,Brussels sprouts and all this other stuff.
There is so much awful food and it's important to me not to listen to the people who are saying that I'II like that stuff eventually. Total NONESENSE!You know these people who pretend they are such grown-ups just because they are eating asparagus...and in the end they would love to vomit, but to keep the appearance they say "oh, it tastes delicious and everyone will like it eventually!"-to me this attitude is ridiculous. I didn't like asparagus when I was three, don't like it now and won't like it when I am 37.
Tom: There hasn't been my food that I didn't eat earlier in my life and that I am eating now.
Georg: Sure there is...for example mozzarella or calamari...
Tom: I ate all that as well when I was little...seriously!
Bill: I always liked coffee - even when I was five years old...just love it.When I was little my parents didn't want me to drink coffee so they just gave me a tiny shot of coffee and filled up the rest with loads of milk I always drank that so fast!
KVETKEZ NAP: PARC DES PRINCES!
TH Staff: If you have time we'll meet the guys responsible for pyrotechnics and we'll go over tonight's effects on the computer so you get a feel for it.
Bill: This is huge! Bigger than anything I've ever seen before and the stage is Terrific!
TH Staff: Let's go to the pyro guys!
Bill: You know, also want to have this stage in the smaller from now on :-)
TH Staff: Don't think it'll fit!
TH Staff: There are several flash machines set up all over the stage and the produced flashes are very abright. Please make sure to focus on certain spots in the audience and don't look directly in the flashes Otherwise you'll have some problems seeing for the rest of the show.
Georg: These flashes will probably shock me each time they come up :-)
PARC DES PRINCES JUNE 21ST IT'S SHOWTIME
BACKSTAGE AFTER THE CONCERT
Tom: My highlight tonight was the "Ready,Set,Go!" intro.
I had already hit the frist notes and only then Bill started to coznt in...totally off beat so everyone had to adjust to Bill's rhytm!
Bill: The stairs were extremely narrow and even before the concert had started i said I'll fall down later.When I ran down, my arm got stuck so I tried to pull it out...when it was out it felt completely numb.
I couldn't move my arm anymore! In the beginnig I thought it miht be broken but then I went over to the microphone stand and just put my arm on the stand. Luckily during the next song the feeling in my arm returmed!
Tom: Too many mistakes from Bill-totally destroyed the RSG intro and fell down the stairs during "Reden"
What else did you mess up?
Bill: I just fell down the stars-that's it!
Tom:Sure,what about Ready,Set,Go?
Bill: Nothing wrong with that!
Tom: Of course there was-listen to what the others say...
Bill:...come on-I am the band leader so I must know what's right...if I say so that's the way it is!:-)
